house progress...slow and steady

It's been a little while since I have posted any updates on our current house projects. There has actually been a lot of progress lately (insert happy dance here) and I'll post more soon, including some fun new tutorials for all you diy-ers.

Here's a peek at the latest improvements. For more details on why we are renovating, see the whole story behind our cottage. You can also see some room-by-room rundowns here.

1. Our stair handrails are now attached to the wall! Yippee!
2. The tile is all down in the basement bathroom. Finally, the end of that project is in sight! I can't wait to show it all to you.
3. Ding Dong...we have a doorbell! This is a huge upgrade for our house, and we did some extra diy to hide the big ugly doorbell box on the inside of the house. More details to come in the near future.
4. Our front porch is DONE! The stone is gorgeous and the hubs did a fantastic job on the concrete counters. Tutorial on how to make your own coming soon.
