a knight hoodie for mom??

Do you recognize the eyes peeking out from this fantastic Knight Hoodie?
It's the amazing Hayley from Welcome to the Mouse House! She made this hoodie for her son...but kids can't have all the fun so she's wearing it too! Go get more details about why on her blog. Hayley also has a coupon code for you and it's the LAST DAY to get a $2 discount on the Knight Hoodie kids' pattern. I'm working like crazy to get the tween/adult sized hoodie pattern done and it's almost done. Yippeee! Be on the lookout for a testing call soon so you can follow Hayley's example and make a Knight Hoodie that you can wear. :)

a pink and green knight

Spring is coming (even if it doesn't feel like it yet to those of us stuck in sub-zero temperatures) but it's fun to start thinking about Spring sewing. Tasha's Knight Hoodie made me instantly think of Spring because of her color choices. Green. Pink. And I see a little peek-a-boo of pretty fabric under the elbow armor.

Head over to I Seam Stressed to see more of this adorable hoodie...and get a coupon code for the pattern!

girls can be knights too

The Knight Hoodie tour continues with Jenn from A Jennuine Life. She made an amazing Knight Hoodie for her daughter. Girls can be knights too! Jenn also made that incredible shield and is sharing a tutorial (as well as a discount code for YOU so you can get a deal on the Knight Hoodie pattern). So go check out A Jennuine Life! She's using a brilliantly unique material in the shield. You may even have all the materials on hand to make one too!

adding textured accents to the Knight Hoodie

Farrah from Mingo & Grace is sharing her Knight Hoodie today and it's a-MAY-zing! The sweatshirt itself is all black, but the fabric she chose has an incredible texture that looks so cool. I love how she made the upper arm a different material than the lower arm too. So cool! And the way she made the armor is great too!

Head to Mingo & Grace to get all the details and, if you still don't have the pattern, use the coupon code she shares on her site to save on the Knight Hoodie PDF pattern.

Leather Accents and Cool Appliques

There are two fantastic bloggers on the Knight Hoodie tour today. Check out these great hoodies made by Sewing Mama RaeAnna and My Crafty Corner.

Sewing Mama RaeAnna made a Knight Hoodie and (she's a genius) used leather accents for some of the armor pieces. Go check out her blog to see it and get all the details. She has a coupon code for you too in case you don't have the pattern yet.

Hyde from Hyde My Crafty Corner was one of the testers for the Knight Hoodie pattern. Remember this amazing applique detail on the back of hers? It's genius too! Head to her blog to get more details on it!

playing the part of a Knight

The Knight Hoodie tour continues with Christina from 2 Little Hooligans (she has a discount code for you too so go check out her blog). Just look how cute her son is! He's totally into playing the part of a Knight.
You also have to see this version sewn by Friends Stitched Together. She shared this on my facebook page and I love all the details she put into her Knight Hoodie. If you've made one please share it with me too. I love to see how creative you all are!
Today you can also check out what Celina from Petit a Petit and Family has to say about the Knight Hoodie. Tomorrow I'm excited to share something I made using one of Celina's tutorials!
