Introducing...the Knight Hoodie tween and adult sizes

It's HERE! Your support of the child's Knight Hoodie has been incredible and right after it was released I started getting requests for adult sizes. Back in February I made a hoodie for my husband to see if it would work. Over the next couple of months the pattern was slowly graded and refined. You've been patient and it's f.i.n.a.l.l.y. here. Click here to get your copy now! And watch for our Kollabora Launch Party!

The following images show the size chart and fabric requirements as well as some amazing inspirational pictures from the pattern testers.

a Ninja Hoodie

Renee from Nearest the Pin whipped up this fantastic Ninja hoodie using the Knight Hoodie pattern. Isn't it fun? Be sure to check out her blog and see the 'knight' turned into a 'ninja.' (she'll have a tutorial coming soon with all the steps she took to make the ninja version) What little boy wouldn't love to be a ninja?? (and when you visit her blog, be sure to look for a special coupon code to save on the pattern)

Knight Hoodie Tester Images...part 2

The Knight Hoodie is now available! (You can get it by clicking here.) It's been so fun seeing all the versions made by my pattern testers. They seriously did a fantastic job!! The hoodie in the picture above was made by Tisha and I'm just in love with this dreamy white Knight! She used embellishments around all the armor and sparkly touches here and there to make it perfect for any little girl!

I'm excited to share more of the tester versions with you (I shared some in this post too) as well as more details about the pattern to answer any questions you may have.

Question: Can I sell hoodies I make with this pattern?
Answer: YES! I love it when small shops can make something unique and fun and hope you will make LOTS of Knight Hoodies using this pattern!

Question: Will this pattern be available in adult sizes?
Answer: YES! I am working on tween and adult sizes right now and hope to release the extended sizes in the near future. Be sure to follow the blog or facebook page to get all the details.

Question: What are the fabric requirements and size chart?
Answer: See the images below for a little peek inside the pattern and see the fabric and size charts.

Now let's take a look at more of the amazing tester's Knight Hoodies!

Danielle's son looks great in his hoodie and they even sent me a fun little video of him playing the part of a Knight, whipping his sword around and loving it!

Renee from Nearest the Pin made this incredible red knight. I love how it turned out! You can visit her facebook page to see more of Renee's creative projects.

Kim added this fantastic applique to the back. The applique isn't included in the pattern, but looks amazing!

I love seeing the hoodie on a GIRL! There were several girl versions made by testers and this purple and pink version made by LeAndra is adorable! My girls both want one like this now!

Melisa from Chase Me Photography tried the hoodie in wool instead of sweatshirt fleece and the result is incredible.

Rachel did a great job with this gray hoodie. I love that zipper! And since the zipper goes all the way up, a little one can really feel like a knight with his 'armor' on. You can see more of Rachel's work on her Little Leela's Boutique page.

Tanya made this hoodie for her adorable 2 year old grandson. I love the contrasting colors for the armor and pockets.

I want to just say a huge THANK YOU to all these testers again. They helped refine the pattern and now that the pattern is released I can't wait to see your version too!

Introducing the Knight Hoodie Pattern

It's finally here!! The Knight Hoodie PDF sewing pattern is a unique and fun sweatshirt for boys and girls! The pattern covers sizes 2T to 10...and YES I'm now working on tween and adult sizes of the pattern. (be sure to follow the blog and watch for details on the release of the new sizes)

Click here to go buy the pattern now!

I was blown away by the hoodies each of my testers made. The sky's the limit with this pattern. You can make a knight in any color, and add special touches to your hoodie like you see below. And the pictures below are only Part 1. Next week I'll be back to share more tester photos from these amazingly talented ladies.

Becky's blue version is just amazing. And isn't that sword perfect for the outfit? Check out Becky's etsy shop or facebook page to see more of her amazing work.

Brittanie added a phenomenal mohawk to the sweatshirt. The pattern doesn't include directions on how to do this, but it shows you what you can do with the pattern and a little extra creativity! See more from Brittanie on her facebook page.

Brooke from Boutique Rose did a great two-color version of a Knight.

Candy made this version. I love how the sweatshirt looks without the buttons too!

Cori actually lives near castle walls and got some really fun pictures of her son playing the part of a Knight. The sweatshirt looks great in fleece too!

Debbie did an ingenious thing with the hood armor. She used snaps instead of buttons so the armor can come in front of the face like a real knight! There's a snap on each side, as well as a snap on top to keep the armor up when you want it that way. Check out her facebook too.

Erica from Lollipops & Paisley made a great blue Knight. (And don't you love that his 'sword' is a candy cane?!) You can see her review of testing the pattern here.

Erin from Crafty Biggers made such a FUN girl's version of a Knight! Her daughter picked out the fun colors and then they painted the accent fabric to match!

I love the zipper on Ginger's version. And adding buttons to the shoulder armor is so fun too.

Hyde just wow-ed me with this applique! Doesn't it look incredible?? The applique isn't included in the pattern, but think of the possibilities you could do on the back! Next week you'll see another version of an applique. But you can see more from Hyde and HB Designs on her facebook page.

Kelly from Kish and Caboodle made a black Knight Hoodie for her son. He even has a play castle!
