Fancy Pants for KCW
It's Kid's Clothes Week again! The challenge during KCW is to sew for an hour a day and it's amazing to see how much some ambitious people accomplish during this one week.
I am sad to not be able to sew along for KCW each day because I'm busy making adult-sized clothes (Knight Hoodies, to be exact). But I couldn't resist doing a little kids' sewing. I've been wanting to make the Fancy Pants Leggings from Titchy Threads for quite a while and finally made some for my boys!
I've had this fabric for a long time and thought it would be perfect to use during my Downton Sewing Series. The cute little bowler hats and the subtle British flag print would have been great...I just ran out of time and couldn't get them done. But I finally made a little time and just love how FAST these are to whip up! The Fancy Pants Leggings pattern is perfect for KCW because you can easily do one (or two!) in an hour start to finish!
The little bums are so cute too! And these two boys had quite a fun time modeling for me. They started out showing how they're buddies and were very huggey and cooperative. Then...
Wrestle time.
But they got back to hugging again. These two.
I can't recommend the Fancy Pants Leggings pattern highly enough! And I can't wait to make some for my girls next.

Your boys are so cute, you've got so many lovely photos here. I love the leggings too, that print was a great find.
