Deck the Halls with Fabric

I am in the middle of thinking through what kind of Advent Calendars to start in a couple weeks (is it really almost December??) and loved this post with advent calendar ideas. 

My Christmas tree has been up for a few weeks (gasp) and I love putting it up early because we're gone so much in November and December that it feels like there's no time to enjoy it if we put it up later. Have you decorated for Christmas yet? Or do you wait until after Thanksgiving?
