Insta-Grandma

I gave in. I finally joined Instagram!

I love taking pictures and looking at all the fun posts other people put out there...but I didn't want to learn another 'thing' that I knew would be a time sucker. I totally felt like an insta-grandma at first trying to figure out the ins and outs of the platform but I think I'm getting the hang of it now. I'm so thankful for my blog-land friends who have helped me figure it out!

This dress was another Instagram sneak peek. I am in LOVE with these fabrics...they scream fall to me. But it was my first attempt at making a double peter pan collar and it came out all wonky. I was planning on starting over with the dress but in the end I found the perfect way to style it and am keeping it with a few tweaks. Can't wait to share it with you soon!

And it's been far too long since I did any house updates here on the blog. I'm sure you want to see my lovely polk-a-dotted spackle walls. Ha! But I'm trying to share more "in progress" pictures on Instagram.
