Wedding

It has taken me a week to finally get things a bit settled from my 2000 mile, week-long trip with the kids. We started out in St Louis for a baseball game and then stayed in a different city almost every night seeing friends. Our last destination was Indiana for the 4th of July to see my cousin Jonathan tie the knot. I'll post more pictures of the rest of our trip soon, but first wanted to post some wedding pics. Congratulations Jonathan and Jo Lyn! We're so happy you'll be living close. Thanks for sharing your special day with us.

By the way - these pictures all posted pretty small here - but if you click on them you can see the bigger versions.

Friday the 3rd was the rehearsal. It was a gorgeous day to prepare for an outside wedding. Here's the happy couple after being 'pronounced'. Nana is watching the rehearsal through a near-by window while the mama and papa-razzi are in full force!

The day of the ceremony came and, sadly, it rained. So the whole ceremony was moved inside and was still beautiful. I didn't get any good pictures of the actual ceremony so we'll jump straight to the reception. The decorations were lemons and limes. Beautiful.

The first dance for the happily married couple.

There was lots of dancing and at one point the bride stopped to rest her feet. I couldn't resist snapping a picture.

More laughter and dancing. A beautiful cake. Congratulations Jonathan and Jo Lyn.
